HISTORY OF MISS GAY WISCONSIN USOfA CLASSIC
Since 2003, Miss Gay WI Classic USofA has given divas a chance to return to glory! Like its sister title, Miss Gay Wisconsin USofA, the rules and regulations are very similar, but the competing queen must be 40 or older.

RULES & REGULATIONS OF MISS GAY WISCONSIN USOfA CLASSIC
1. For Miss Gay USofA, Miss Gay USofA at Large, and Miss Gay USofA Classic, contestants must male born males. Contestants must be 40 years old by the National Pageant to enter Miss Gay USofA Classic.

2. Judging will be on a total point accumulated system. Score sheets will be provided by USofA Pageants. Ties will be broken by the contestant with the higher score in the talent category.

3. Contestants will be judged in the following categories: Personal Interview, Talent, and Evening Gown.

4. Talent presentation will be limited to seven (7) minutes. Prop setup and teardown will be limited to five (5) minutes total. Talent presentations will be timed at rehearsals. Presentations over seven (7) minutes will have administrative points deducted.

5. Any type of talent presentation is acceptable except those that cause injury to the audience or any other person, No excessive glitter, fire, water or live animals may be used in any talent presentation.

6. The use or dispensing of illegal drugs or marijuana will not be tolerated while a contestant is participating in the Official Miss Gay USofA Pageant. Immediate disqualification will result for those who break this rule.

7. Any contestant that is not at the appointed place at the appointed time will lose administrative points.

8. Any contestant, contestant’s dancer(s), helper(s), etc. who is caught in the act of stealing or tampering with another person's property will be disqualified and removed from the location of the Pageant.

9. The Official Miss Gay USofA Pageant does not discriminate against entertainers with silicone and/or hormones. The use of silicone and/or hormones will not be considered by any judge scoring the contestants.

10. Once a contestant has placed 1st Runner-up in a Preliminary Pageant they may not continue to compete. They must go to the pageant with that placement.

11. USofA Pageants reserves the right to make any decision concerning any matter not covered by these Rules and Regulations.

12. Residency Requirement: All contestants must reside in Wisconsin or within fifty (50) miles of the Wisconsin border.

13. No contestant may enlist the aid of any individual currently on the national banned list for USofA or currently on the banned list for Wisconsin USofA. If in doubt, please consult with the pageant coordinators or your promoter. NOTE: USofA and the All American Goddess Pageant system share banned lists.

14. No contestant may have a back-stage dresser or back-up dancer who is not 21 years old and has a valid state issued identification card.

15. Contestants are obligated to compete in the Miss Gay Wisconsin USofA Pageant if they have:

a. Entered a preliminary pageant and won.
b. Entered a preliminary pageant where three or more individuals
   competed and placed 1st Alternate.
c. Preliminary Pageants where two or less individuals competed are only
  obligated to send the Winning Contestant. The contestant who was
  awarded the 1st Alternate position may compete at Miss Gay Wisconsin
  USofA but is not obligated to do so. A 1st Alternate from this type of
  competition will also not be banned for not competing.

16. Any contestant obligated to compete in Miss Gay Wisconsin USofA State Pageant that does not will:

a. Be banned for a period of one (1) year from date of Miss Gay
   Wisconsin USofA State Pageant and will remain banned until:

i. Repays Promoter all monies awarded them as part of their
  preliminary prize package

ii. Will forfeit their current title, crown & sash to the designated first
  alternate who competes in the Miss Gay Wisconsin USofA Pageant
  or their promoter if a first alternate is not available.

b. May not enter, assist or judge any Wisconsin USofA Preliminary
   Pageant until they have waited their one year and repaid their
   promoters all monies and property they were awarded as part of
   their prize package.

ABOUT THE USofA PAGEANT SYSTEM

Miss Gay USofA Classic was first held in 2003 with the coronation of Tina Devore. Miss Gay USofA Classic is open to all men who are 40 years of age by the time of the National Pageant and can provide state issued identification. The National Pageant is generally held the Sunday/Monday before Miss Gay USofA the week before Memorial Day in May of each year.
