THE FEATURED DJS & GUEST DJS OF...

The DJs of Club 5 have been some the earliest trendsetters on the Madison DJ scene...from live video, to hilarious camp movie/music clips, to a circuit party like atmosphere, the Club 5 DJs are some of the best you have ever heard! DJs Tony, Tim, Reeves, and Leo share the duties on different nights, sometimes the same night, or in different areas of the complex at different/same times. They are sometimes joined by the Boys of Detention, a special event held every so often at Club 5, that includes DJs Multidimensional Fortitude and DJ Cody Domino (a former resident DJ of Club 5) and DJ Nic Betow (of the Shamrock Bar). Another dj from Chicago, DJ Rockstar, has been a frequent guest dj here at C5.

The resident DJs are also djing during the drag shows, but Dave, the owner of Club 5, also fills in. On Sundays before Sunday Showcase, KJ Tommy plays the best in Show Tunes and djs our Karaoke Nights on Thursdays.

We also have special guest djs come in from New York, California, Chicago and more including Disney's Gay Days Tour main headliner, DJ Randy Bettis and DJ Cowboy Eddie from Detroit.

DJ TONY RITSCHARD

DJ Tony is the longest serving resident DJ of Club 5 and has a history of DJing going back to the days of the legendary Hotel Washington (the danceclub within the complex: Club DeWash) and got involved with Club 5 in its predecessor bar, Manoeuvres, by then owner, the late Ed Gruenwald, when the Hotel was destroyed in the late 90's.

Since Ed's creation of the Club 5 complex, Tony made the transition over and has been djing here ever since on weekends, mostly Saturdays. You can find him djing in our main bar, Fusion or during our outside events on the Patio.

Tony has a long history of djing, which includes The Cardinal Bar, Hotel Washington, UW Ten Percent Society dances, OutReach's The Pink Party, and much more. Tony has also recently become the new 1st Sat of the month dj at Plan B in Madison.

Tony works as a realtor during the day, but has traveled around the US as a connoisseur of dance music. Recently, Tony has become an online reporter for the nationally syndicated magazine, Billboard. You can find Tony on www.billboard.com.

DJ TIM WALTERS

DJ Tim has been a resident DJ at Club 5 since 1998. He is one of the main DJs for the 18+ College Nights on Fridays and also hosts Foam Parties inside and outside of the club.

He has also djed at the UW Madison's 10% Society Dances, The Office in Rockford and Hyde in Milwaukee. He is the on-air host for ElectricFM.com every Monday -Friday's from 6pm to 11pm (one of the most listened to dance internet stations in the world) since 2008. He has also recently become a sometime dj at the Shamrock Bar in Madison.

Tim had a short 2 year stint also on Z104 (the weekend night show, ClubZ) and 96.3 on the weekends.

A lover of dance music ever since he was little, he is glad to have been a part of Club 5 and the community for so many years!

He currently lives with his partner, Bradley, and their 3 cats in Madison.

DJ REEVES

DJ Reeves has been a resident Club 5 DJ since 2008 and has become one of the best djs within its history (aside from Tony and TIm). Reeves plays on some of the College nights and at various times on the other parts of the weekend. He has recently joined the Midwest's Largest LGBT Owned and Operated Entertainment Company, Ravyn Entertainment LLC, under their DJ Division.

Among his influences include Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Alcazar, Alphabeat, Freemason's, and AnnaGrace. His style is Dance/Europop/House.

During the day, DJ Reeves works as a meteorologist, but spins killer beats at night!

THE BOYS OF DETENTION - DJ MULTIDIMENSIONAL FORTITUDE and DJ CODY DOMINO

DETENTION are special events held in the Madison area and presented by the dj duo of DJ Multidimensional Fortitude and former resident dj, DJ Cody Domino. The boys have returned to do other nights and events at Club 5 from time to time.

Educated on the dance floors of New York City, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Berlin, DJ MF has set out to create a sound that’s all his own. Over the last ten years, he has finally been able to master the sounds that made him love dance music from the start. The name Multidimensional Fortitude wasn't the name he chose, but the one that chose him. From many years of studying the great DJ's of all time, he became fascinated with the blending, layering and unique combination's of sounds.

DJ Cody Domino is both an entertainer (on a variety of levels) and dj for many years, serving as a resident DJ of Club 5, twice. He is the "entertainment son" of legendary performer, Cass Marie Domino. Since his early start djing for drag shows in Milwaukee, Cody Domino has transformed into a regionally-recognized DJ. From Green Bay to Milwaukee, Rockford to Dubuque, and Madison to Chicago he has energized dancefloors all over the Midwest!!

The boys have been djing together off and on and have been showcased at Club 5, Plan B, Pridefest Milwaukee, SPIN Nightclub, and many others...

DJ LEO

DJ Leo is the "baby" of the family. He may be fairly new to the dj scene, but this young man has some experience under his belt!

Leo started out as the 18+ DJ and weekend DJ of the short lived Out Nightclub in 2009. Since then he has moved on to djing at special events for OutReach LGBT Community Center, the Shamrock Bar, and the Cardinal Bar in Madison.

Club 5 recently changed their Tuesday 18+ nights to FRESH, a night to showcase new local talent, but Leo became so popular with the crowd, he has become their official Tuesday night DJ and DJs in the Barracks/Dugout on Diversity Saturdays.

CHICAGO'S MASTER OF MASHUP - DJ ROCKSTAR. NEVER PARTY WITHOUT ONE.

DJ Rockstar is staking his claim as the hottest Live DJ/MC and Music Producer in the U.S. His latest original release "Just Relaxx" is being downloaded and played across the globe, as well as a brand new party mix "Girls Night Out". Matthew toured the country with the "COORS LIGHT MAXIM SEARCH PARTY" for two years in a row and headlined many major events with major bands and DJ's. These include Coors Light, Maxim, Hard Rock Cafe, Rockstar Energy Drink, Red Bull, Jim Beam, Draft FCB, Chicago Theater, Euro Chicago and many more.
